• Your position

• Your stated daily rate

• Your submitted photography

This information will only be shared with trusted and relevant parties in the industry for the sole purpose of helping You secure freelance work opportunities. Borealis Studios will not share Your information for any other purposes without Your explicit consent.

By submitting Your details, you allow Us an indefinite licensed copy to share with relevant parties. 

 

Voluntary Participation

Signing up is entirely voluntary, and you may choose to withdraw your information from our database at any time by contacting us.

 

No Guarantees

Signing up with Borealis Studios does not guarantee:

• Job offers or freelance opportunities.

• Placement with any production company or project.

Our service is designed to facilitate connections, but the outcome depends on various factors, including the needs of production companies and their interest in Your profile.

Rates and Fees

To support the operation of Borealis Studios’ Connection Hub, we charge a flat 10% fee on all freelance work facilitated through the platform.

 

Fee Structure

A flat 10% fee will be deducted from the total payment for any freelance work arranged via the Borealis Studios Connections Hub.

This rate applies uniformly to all work regardless of scope, duration, or payment amount.

 

Payment Process

Payment for freelance work will be processed via the Connection Hub, with the 10% fee automatically applied.

Remaining funds will be disbursed to the freelancer upon successful completion of the project and confirmation from both parties.

 

Transparency

Borealis Studios is committed to full transparency regarding fees. The 10% charge will be clearly itemised in all payment records.

This fee will be used to fund Borealis Production Studios, enabling us to create our own film productions.

 

Non-Negotiable Fee

The 10% rate is fixed and non-negotiable, applying to all users of the Connection Hub.

 

Third Party Content and Linked Sites

Some of the content on the Website is provided by third parties, including users. Borealis Studios makes no representations or warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, adequacy, currency, or reliability of any content supplied by third parties and will not be liable for any lack of the foregoing or for errors or omissions in third-party content.

Additionally, third parties may offer opportunities, goods, services, and other materials via the Website. Such dealings are solely between You and the third party. Borealis Studios will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred as a result of such dealings.

The Website may include links to external sites. Borealis Studios does not endorse or control these sites and shall have no liability for any content, goods, or services provided by such third parties. Accessing such sites is done entirely at Your own risk.

 

Professionalism Policy and 3-Point System

At Borealis Studios, we strive to maintain a professional and safe environment for all users of our Connections Hub. To uphold these standards, we operate a strict 3-point system for professionalism. By using our services, you agree to the following:

 

Reporting of Issues

If Borealis Studios receives a report from either the company or talent you are working with regarding issues such as a no-show, unprofessional behavior, or criminal conduct, we will investigate the matter thoroughly.

 

Point Allocation

Each verified instance of the aforementioned behaviors will result in a point being added to your profile.

 

Ban Policy

Accumulating 3 points will result in an immediate ban from Borealis Studios Connections Hub.

Borealis Studios reserves the right to enforce this ban without prior warning if the reported behavior is deemed severe or harmful to others.

 

Usage of Submitted Content for Advertising

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you grant Borealis Studios the right to use your submitted name, profile image, and other materials provided to us for advertising purposes related to promoting the Connections Hub.

 

Scope of Use

Your image and name may appear in advertisements, marketing campaigns, or promotional materials created by Borealis Studios.

 

Notification of Use

Borealis Studios will notify you in advance of your inclusion in any advertising material.

 

Opt-Out Option

Should you wish to withdraw your consent to have your name or image used in advertising, you may contact us at borealisproductionstudios@gmail.com, and we will ensure that your content is no longer utilised in future campaigns.

 

Restrictions on Use

The Website is provided for lawful purposes only. By accessing or using the Website, You agree not to:
